WOW!! LOOK AT ME NOW!!

When i was seven my mum started this blog for me. She hasn't written on it for three years. Now I am nearly ten and i am going to write it myself! This is a picture of me at my mums photoshoot.

Pirate Day at Gym

Today was dress-up day at Gymnastics. We dressed up as pirates!

Hooray, mum went to Savers today!

Danny got these tools. He looks very proud doesn't he!

I got this gorgeous brush and comb set. We decided that it was probably made in the sixties but it was still in it's original packaging, unopened. What a find!

Danny's New Paints

Danny loves to paint, so Patrick and I gave him some new paints and brushes for his birthday.


We got red, orange, blue, and lilac. This morning we decided to try them out.



Here I am in my pinny watching our paintings dry.

Here are some of the finished pieces. The very orange one is Dan Dan's. The red butterfly is Paddy's and the two butterflies are mine.

Danny had a LOVELY time but he wouldn't let anybody else use the orange!

Patick was layering all the different colours on top of eachother. Here I am giving him a bit of guidance!

I painted Port Phillip Bay and the Yarra.

It was lots of fun!!

saturday lunch

Today we had friends for lunch.


Dad cooked a beautiful pasta with italian sausage and artichokes.

Here we all are serving up.

After lunch we made a cubby house in the back yard with some old branches.

Danny and Amby played in some buckets of bath water that we use to water the garden.

Pizza with friends is a great way to finish the week!

Our vegie garden

Recently I have been working with dad in the vegie garden. We planted these little flower seeds about two weeks ago. They are petunias and poppies.


Look how much they've grown in just a couple of weeks!



Here's the little rosemary bush that we planted.



These hyacinths are past their prime but they're still very pretty!

As is this pretty purple flower. I don't know what it is. Dad planted some lobelia in an old bird cage. I can't wait 'till it starts to flower.

And here's some rosemary we cut to use in the kitchen.

Mmmm..., I think I can feel a lamb roast coming on!
